I’ve never used ‘em, can’t vouch for them, but their transaction costs are – well, not great, but reasonable. They also have an automatic-investment program and no account minimum.
The offer is for a $50 bonus for a deposit of only $50 or more – there’s a nice profit right there. And – hey, you have an account all set and ready to invest in something interesting… There are still some stocks which are pretty badly beaten up and worth picking up and holding for a longer term. I don’t know anything about the automatic investment program, so you’d have to do your own research.
